In the past when the grass in swale areas along the highway or retention pond banks was mowed, the tractor mowers occasionally impacted the stormwater skimmers - severely bending aluminum and galvanized steel skimmers and fracturing the mounting angles and corners on the fiberglass skimmers.

All fiberglass skimmers have been produced with rigid fiberglass corner angles & brackets that, when hit by a tractor mower, would crack and break.

So what did we do? After many attempts, we developed a special blended polymer angle that was rigid enough to support our structure while flexible enough to bend and allow the structural fiberglass to return the iSkimmer back to its original configuration over and over.
